Troy "TJ" Turney, Jr. died September 25, 2025 after suffering a massive stroke.
Son of Troy and Gladys Turney, TJ was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, and spent his early years in California and Arkansas. His family moved to Peoria in the early 1950's where TJ attended elementary school and high school, graduating from Peoria High School in 1960.
TJ owned and operated a household moving company, Local Moving, in Peoria until his retirement in 2020.
He is survived by brothers, Farrell Turney (Ann) and Hayes Turney (Nancy), niece Sally and nephews Joe, Jim and Robert.
