St. Louis, MO - Gartner, Arthur C. (Art) - Entered into rest, Thursday, September 18, 2025. Beloved brother of Raymond Gartner, Charles Gartner (Nancy); preceded in death by his sister Marie (Norman) Haller and parents Anthony and Marie Gartner. Brother-in-law to Tommy Taveggia, deceased. Dear nephew of Marian Gartner and many other aunts and uncles that passed before him. Uncle to Beth Grimmond (Paul), Terri Larsen, Becky Sharp (Dean), Marie (BB) Bax, Tony Taveggia (Peggy), Richard Haller, deceased, Jennifer Haller, Stacia Smith (Kevin) and Tony Gartner. Art was also a great uncle, great, great uncle and cousin, too many to list.


Art retired from Western Electric and was a veteran from the Vietnam War - United States Army. He loved fishing on his boat and watching the Arizona Cardinals.

Funeral mass Monday, September 29 at 10:30am at Seven Holy Founders, 6737 S Rock Hill Rd, Affton, MO. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to Saints Peter and Paul Church, 1919 S. 7th Street, St. Louis, MO.
